When your on-grid solar system produces more energy than your home consumes, the surplus can be exported to the grid. This excess energy export will be credited to your electricity bill, providing you with savings on your energy costs.

Subsidy Eligibility:

The solar subsidy is exclusively available for residential homes, including individual houses and large apartment complexes. It is not applicable to commercial or industrial sectors. To qualify for the subsidy, the solar system must be an on-grid system without battery storage.

MNRE Subsidy Details:

• Subsidy for 1 KWp: ₹30,000
• Subsidy for 2 Kwp: ₹60,000
• Subsidy for 3 KWp and above: ₹78,000
